The value of peer support expertise in the context of mental health, supporting those who use substances and responding to the overdose emergency cannot be overstated. People with lived and living experience have been at the forefront of innovation, driving best practices and affecting policy change at all levels of government.

The provincial peer support worker training curriculum has centred that expertise in the creation of all its materials and this project would not have been possible without their voices.
